Lovely one bedroom apartment in a beautifully renovated house from the late 18th century in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, one of the most popular and lively areas of Berlin.

The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed (1,40x2,00m), so it's perfect for two people, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bathroom (with a bathtub and a seperate shower) and a balcony.. It is on the 4th floor, there is an elevator.

Hand-over of keys only after presentation of passport, payment of deposit (100€) and signing of short lease agreement. You will get the deposit back right after your departure if no damage was done. Quiet and respectful guests, please, this is a quiet house with many families. Smoking only permitted on the balcony! No pets, sorry. Thank you. We are looking forward to see you!

Our holiday apartment is located in a lively area of great variety – not only in a culinary sense: you can find Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, Spanish, American and German restaurants in walking distance. There is also a multiplex movie theater directly on Gleimstraße and the famous Max-Schmeling-Halle with its wide choice of entertainment programmes (concerts, sport events and others) is just around the corner. You can go running in the nearby track or watch football games in Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn stadion. During hot summer days you can have a picknick in the little park at Falkplatz and in Mauerpark you may even have a barbeque or visit parts of the infamous Berlin wall.

It is very easy to get to Gleimstraße as it is close to the metro and train station Schoenhauser Allee. You can reach Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt with its many shops and boutiques in only a few stations. The famous Kastanienallee and the beautiful Oderberger Straße with its many designer shops, second hand boutiques, bars and restaurants is in walking distance. On Sundays you can also have a different kind of shopping experience on one of Berlins biggest fleamarkets in Mauerpark.

How to get here
You can easily reach us from both airports Schoenefeld (soon to be BBI) and Tegel TXL airport. If you fly to Schoenefeld airport, just take the suburban railway S9 and arrive at Schoenhauser Allee without even changing trains. From Tegel airport the bus TXL takes you to the train station Beusselstraße where you can transfer to the ring train. If you arrive at Berlin central station, just take one of the many trains to Alexanderplatz and then change to the metro U2 to Schoenhauser Allee or treat yourself to one of Berlins many fairpriced taxis for just about 12€. Guests who arrive by car should know that you need to pay for parking in Gleimstraße. We are happy to give you tips how to find a nearby parking spot free of charge.
